HYPERBLUE Plus Nail Laser

Hyperblue Plus is a specifically designed FDA cleared laser for the treatment of toenail fungus or Onychomycosis. It uses wavelengths that will penetrate through the toenail and safely kills the fungus living in the nail plate and surrounding tissue. It includes those embedded in the nail beds which are actually under the physical toenail, where excess debris and fungus can accumulate making it difficult to reach with traditional treatments.

The laser light beam has no effect on healthy tissue and treats only the infected area of the toe. No drugs or topical ointments are used, eliminating the total-body side effects of traditional oral and topical medications. However, we recommend combination therapy as well as preventative maintenance therapy given the difficult nature in treating onychomycosis.

Clinical studies show that the laser kills toenail fungus and promotes clear nail growth with a single treatment in better than 80% of cases; and 6 months after 3 treatments, 77% reported 100% and 17% reported 50%.

The treatment course includes three sessions over a two-month period. Additional treatments may be helpful for prevention. The procedure times will vary depending on the number of toenails and the degree of infection, but on average it takes approximately 10 minutes. The laser treatment is safe, effective, and there are no side effects. In fact, apart from a warming sensation, there should be no discomfort during the procedure.
